Hay Making
DRUM MOWERS
Primarily used for cutting grass for hay making. Available in either a 1.35m or 1.65m working width the Siromer drum mower is ideal for cutting grass ready for baling. The drums are equipped with three cutting knives, which work simultaneously for an even cut. The drum mower apron/curtain protects both the machine and operator.
Provides a fast, efficient and clean cut. Access to all parts of the machine is easy, making the replacement of knives, discs and other wearing parts quick and simple.
ROTARY TEDDER
Tedders are designed to support crop drying and provide even distribution of the swath in order to speed up drying. Frequent use allows you to achieve the required dryness of the material. By tedding your cut grass you can reduce the loss in yield of up to 30%.
The construction consists of two rotors that are lightweight and very strong. The tedder is easy to maintain, manoeuvrable, and especially suitable for small and medium-sized farms.
The machine has universal tines and high-quality springs.
HAY RAKE
Ideal for rowing up before bailing fully will also spread freshly mown grass to aid with fast drying
As a tedder:
1). Spread, swath or windrow so crops dry down faster.
2). Tailor your tedding operations to a variety of crops and conditions by varying PTO speed or tine position.
3). Fixed-tine position provides aggressive tedding and is ideal for use in fresh-cut material or crops where leaf and shatter losses are not a concern.
4).Cam-operated tine position allows the tine bar rollers to follow the cam track to lift and release crop gently and save valuable leaves.
As a rake:
1). Precise raking action produces fluffy, uniform windrows that dry evenly.
2). Self-centring wheels provide extra manoeuvrability by allowing you to make sharp turns and back up easily without lifting the machine. Strong, rugged frame provides years of dependable performance. Three wheel-height position let you adjust for different crops, conditions and operations. Vertical tines pick up fewer stones and less debris than horizontal tines for cleaner tedding and raking. Convenient jack simplifies three-point hitch arrangements.
For use in conjunction with the Siromer P10 Baler.
BELT RAKE
Compact hay rake which is rugged and light weight so doesn't need much horsepower to operate.
Complete with three rows of double tines giving 36 double tines.
The tines never touch the ground, meaning you won't end up with dirt in your bales.
This style of hay rake is the only hay rake which rakes in reverse, which is very handy for small fields with lots of corners. The hay is delivered at one side by the combs, whose movement is at a right angle to forward travel. The hay remains soft and untangled for faster drying. The combs are attached to the twin v-belts with permanently lubricated bearings for quiet and smooth operation even under heavy usage.
BALER - P10
Makes a 60x70cm round bale.
Ideal for the baling of all kinds of material , from hay and straw, haylage and silage through to vine cuttings.
Requires 24-40hp. c/w internal hydraulic pump for superior bale handling and ejection
so the tractor is not required to have a spool valve.
An audible signal indicates bale ready. Bale weights can easily be set to the weight preferred by the user.
Even fairly wet bales can be baled with a moisture content of beyond 60%. with automatic string tying.
BALER - P09
Makes a 90x100cm round bale.
ideal for the baling of all kinds of material , from hay and straw, haylage and silage through to vine cuttings. Requires 40-50hp. c/w internal hydraulic pump for superior bale handling and ejection
so the tractor is not required to have a spool valve.
An audible signal indicates bale ready. Bale weights can easily be set to the weight preferred by the user.
Even fairly wet bales can be baled with a moisture content of beyond 60%. with automatic string tying.
WRAPPER - P20
Haylage round bale wrapper to fit 70 x 60cm round bales. Starts wrapping automatically to the pre set number of layers per bale then stops after completion of wrap cycle. Fully automatic wrap layer counting & adjustment for extra covering protection. With its own electric motor.
To be used in conjunction with the Siromer P10 baler.
WRAPPER - P21
To fit 100 x 90cm round bales. Self-loading, automatic cut and tie in. 500 mm or 750 mm wrap rolls.
In cab controls with bale counter.
To be used in conjunction with the Maxi baler.
